WiSmart EC19D is a family of ultra low power application ready versatile modules, which can fit into any existing or new electronic device to add Wi-Fi functionality. The EC19D is designed to be as small as possible – thus it is provided without an antenna and without a flash memory. In this way, the designer can integrate it into the smallest space possible while custom integrating the antenna and leveraging other memory(s) in a system to load the module.

It is based on an ultra-low power, Wi-Fi chip with support for Wi-Fi Direct, WPS, legacy Wi-Fi Client and SoftAP modes, full TCP/IP stack, HTTPS/SSL, cloud services integration and much more.

For device configuration, Econais has developed ProbMe™, a proprietary configuration method which enables any Wi-Fi device to configure the EC19D module without the need of any application. It is also possible to configure multiple devices at once.

Plenty of FLASH memory is left free for any third party application that can make use of the well-defined API exported by the module. Serial to Wi-Fi is also available with a rich set of commands available in two formats: Human & Machine mode.
